Patricia Morosan is an artist working with photography, text and audio- video.In her practice she approaches the duality of intimacy and identity. Exploring non-disciplinarity, her artistic work addresses multiple realities and practices that draw on feminist and polycentric traditions. Her practice is often collaborative and participatory and is concerned with ideas and methods of emotional geography and ceremonials. Her works are being shown internationally and she has received several awards and grants.She has two monographies published: Sun Stands Still (dieNacht Publishing, Germany, 2017) and (I) Remember Europe (Fotohof edition, Austria, 2022) and an artist book (M/OTHER, Lunds konsthall, Sweden, 2023). Her upcoming book TELEPOETICS. Practicesof Intimacy at the Distance will be published in 2024 by sun/sun editions, Montpellier. She is represented by Gallery Franzkowiak in Berlin and is part of the international artist collective Temps Zero.
